The Boat Yard

Tucked just outside the pantry sits our little Boat Yard — a sun-trap terrace dressed in beach-hut colours, with a hand-painted sardine mural, twinkling festoon lights and a striped parasol overhead. It's intimate, it's coastal, it's quintessentially Pakefield, and on a bright Suffolk afternoon there's nowhere we'd rather be sitting with a coffee or a glass of something cold.

Our regulars know the Boat Yard as the spot to slow down. Whether it's brunch in the morning sun, a bite to eat at lunchtime, or sharing plates as the festoon lights flicker on of an evening — it's a small space with a big personality, and very much our happy place.
